Two NH-90 helicopters belonging to the Royal Air Force of Oman drop into the training area in Rabkoot, Oman to allow Omani troops to quickly offload and begin their assault-on-objective rehearsal with their counterparts in 2nd Battalion, 198th Armored Regiment, 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, Mississippi National Guard. The U.S. Army and the Royal Army of Oman are conducting side-by-side training during exercise Inferno Creek 19. The Royal Army of Oman partnered with the RAFO to conduct an air assault. Inferno Creek is designed to strengthen relations between the armies. It is an opportunity for both militaries to build tactical proficiency and gain shared understanding of each other’s forces and support long-term regional stability.
