Maj. Greg Obar views a display of photos in the Sendai International Airport, Jan. 12. The photos highlight the effort U.S. service members and their Japanese counterparts made during Operation Tomodachi. Obar and his family opened their home to children affected by the tsunami that struck the northern part of Honshu. Obar serves as the commanding officer of Company B, Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Base Camp Butler.
