U.S. Air Force Maj. Jaime Nordin, 55th Fighter Squadron F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot, situates his gear inside the cockpit of his F-16 before taking off, Jan. 10, 2012, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. Twelve F-16 aircraft and approximately 250 airmen deployed to Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, for a three-month deployment. The airmen were activated as the 55th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.
