U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Maurice Toole, 20th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, communicates with aircraft maintainers as he completes his preflight checklist before launching F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, Jan. 10, 2012, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. Twelve F-16 aircraft and approximately 250 airmen deployed to Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, for a three-month deployment. The airmen were activated as the 55th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.
