190302-N-WI365-1186 PHILIPPINE SEA (Mar. 02, 2019) – Sailors aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) prepare to conduct a replenishment-at-sea (RAS) with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO 197) and the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Ashland and Green Bay, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, are operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
