Warrior Leader Course classroom six walk with “humanitarian aid” through an icy gorge Jan. 17, as part of a situational exercise at Fort Carson, Colo. The multi-component course offered at Fort Carson is organized by the 168th Regiment, Regional Training Institute. During each 15-day course, WLC officials evaluate soldiers using exams and tasks. As a culminating event, students transition to a tactical environment, where they must treat combat injuries and call for medevac support.
