Kevin Jenkins, the operations manager for a local business, presents Seaman Joseph R. Morgott, a hospital corpsman with the 2nd MLG from New Orleans, with an engraved knife to recognize his yearlong efforts that earned him the title of Blue Jacket of the Year during a ceremony Jan. 20, 2012, aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C. Morgott also received the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as a Letter of Appreciation on behalf of the command.
