190301-N-IK959-7565 MOSCOW, Idaho – U. S. Navy Capt. Shaun McAndrew, professor of Naval Science and commanding officer of the University of Idaho Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) unit, welcomes NROTC midshipmen, officer candidates and Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP) members and unit staff members to the 2019 Northwest Navy Competition March 1. More than 270 NROTC students from the Universities of Idaho/Washington State, Utah, Oregon, and Washington competed in military drill, academic and athletic events this year.
