U.S. Army Pfc. Jaleph L. Lingo from 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division reads aloud the symptoms that his partner in this exercise is experiencing during a Combat Lifesaver Course at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria, March 8, 2019. CLS was a week-long course that taught non-medical soldiers the extended emergency first aid in combat conditions. Today was the last day of the course, and soldiers were given a scenario and were expected to show and explain all the necessary steps they needed to take in order to treat the notional casualties.
