190307-N-RU084-1003 OXNARD, CALIF. (Mar. 07, 2019) – Equipment Operator 3rd Class Nathan Robinson, from Fresno, California assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5 (NMCB-5), guides a 5-ton dump truck during a road construction project on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The new road will connect the I Marine Expeditionary Force and NMCB-5 camps giving them the ability to conduct military base construction and maintenance in a joint environment in support of Pacific Blitz 2019 (PB19). Working hand-in-hand, the Navy expeditionary force and Marine Logistics Group capabilities complement each other in the building of advanced naval bases.
