Master-at-Arms 2nd Class John Alee takes down Gunner's Mate 1st Class John Barkmeyer who played the role of a gate runner during a drill at Naval Support Activity Bethesda, March 12, 2019. The practice scenario was part of the Regional Assessment (RASS) of security and emergency services. The inspection is conducted about a year after an installation completes the Command Assessment for Readiness and Training (CART). The final step in the inspection process will be the Final Evaluation Problem (FEP), which will allow base security forces to be certified for 18 months.
