Lance Cpl. Timothy Dyer, a members of Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron Aviation 1467 support the tail of UH-1N Huey on the flight deck the landing of an AH-1W SuperCobra on the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is engaged in the initial phase of Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years. The exercise focuses on today's fight with today's forces, while showcasing the advantages of seabasing.
