Marines of the 2AA Battalion, Delta company, 3rd platoon prepare to go 'feet wet' in their amphibious assault vehicles, which are heading to USS Wasp (LHD 1). The amphibious assault ship during the initial phase of Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years. The exercise focuses on today's fight with today's forces, while showcasing the advantages of seabasing.
