Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling Airman Andre A. Nation directs a
MH-53E Sea Dragon belonging to Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 15 as it prepares to land onto the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp is engaged in the initial phase of Exercise Bold Alligator 2012, the largest naval amphibious exercise in the past 10 years. The exercise focuses on today's fight with today's forces, while showcasing the advantages of seabasing.
