Airman 1st Class Ribert Nielsen, 752nd Operations Support Squadron, walks the grounds of the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum and is reflected in the large pool which is the center of the area where the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building used to be on March 8, 2019. Nielsen is at the memorial as part of a tour for Tinker Air Force Base’s First Term Airmen Center and the Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau. The new tour initiative brings the military and civilian communities closer together in a unique program which began in January 2019. The downtown tour has quickly become a welcome capstone to the FTAC curriculum and, over time, should help integrate the military members with the community faster and smoother.
