Carol Lowman (right), executive director, Army Contracting Command, and Charlie E. Williams, director, Defense Contracting Management Agency, present an award to Sgt. Errol Worme, Area Support Group- Kuwait, and a Hempstead, N.Y., native, for his outstanding performance as a contracting representative during a town hall meeting and recognition event Feb. 8. During the meeting, Lowman and Williams expressed their thankfulness to all of the CORs and discussed issues and concerns within the contracting command. Contractors write, analyze and award contracts within Third Army’s area of responsibility. With visits like these, 408th Contracting Support Brigade ensures all of Third Army’s partner nations within its AOR are knowledgeable on current contracting policies and procedures.
