A safety brief is given to soldiers before an improvised explosive device range outside of Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. The 789th Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit gave a class and demonstration of the devastating effects of IEDs. This was the first class to see this type of demonstration. The class focuses on directional fragmentation charges, homemade devices geared towards dismounted patrols.
