Elizabeth Cubberly and Reine Sovey, graduate students at Purdue University, track Blanding's and wood turtles using radio telemetry across the 147,000 acres of Camp Grayling on November 17, 2018. The study is being conducted by Bruce Kingsbury, Ph.D, professor and associate dean of Arts and Sciences and director of the Environmental Resources Center at Purdue University, and aims to gain a better understanding of the habitat needs of these imperiled species so Camp Grayling can implement measures to conserve them while maintaining the military mission.
