A Blanding's turtle, named Nike by the graduate students researching him, is found by Elizabeth Cubberley and Reine Sovey, who are studying the habitat of both Blanding's and wood turtles within Camp Graying. These turtles are often poached for the pet trade because of their unique appearances.
