This wood turtle, named Cub by the graduate students studying him, has a radio transmitter epoxied to his shell so Reine Sovey and Elizabeth Cubberly can track his movements across Camp Grayling. Both Blanding's and wood turtles are prone to move great distances to reach one wetland to the next.
