Command Sgt. Maj. Carlos Olvera, the senior enlisted advisor for the 2nd Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment gets the full Stryker experience with 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment riding in the back of the vehicle during a convoy to take the 2-5 Infantry command team to the battalion headquarters for 1-5 Infantry at Forward Operating Base Shoja. For the first time in 55 years, the 5th Infantry’s Regiment’s colors will be reunited since 1957, when both units were stationed in Nuremburg, Germany.
