Marines with Communications Company collect wires during the breakdown of the field exercise training combat operations center in Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 16. The Marines are in Thailand in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 a reoccurring multinational and multiservice exercise hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand. The exercise is designed to advance regional security by exercising a multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region. “We brought nearly 10 million dollars worth of gear,” said Gunnery Sgt. Matthew Henry, the communications chief with Combat Logistics Regiment 37. “It is now our job to take accountability of all the serialized items, pack up the gear, and collect all the wires for future use.” Communications Company is part of CLR-37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
