Marines with Communications Company take accountability of gear during the breakdown of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 in Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 16. The Marines are in Thailand in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 a reoccurring multinational and multiservice exercise hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand. The exercise is designed to advance regional security by exercising a multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region.
The communications Marines are some of the last Marines to leave, said Gunnery Sgt. Matthew Henry, the communications chief with Combat Logistics Regiment 37. “Once everyone is gone it is our job to make sure the camp is broken down properly, and everything is good,” said Henry. Communications Company is part of CLR-37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
