Staff Sgt. Charles A. Williams takes accountability of gear during the breakdown of Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 in Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 16. Exercise Cobra Gold 2012 a reoccurring multinational and multiservice exercise hosted by the Kingdom of Thailand. The exercise is designed to advance regional security by exercising a multinational force from nations sharing common goals and security commitments in the Asia-Pacific region. “We brought nearly 10 million dollars worth of gear,” said Gunnery Sgt. Matthew Henry, the communications chief with Combat Logistics Regiment 37. “It is now our job to take accountability of all the serialized items, pack up the gear, and collect all the wires for future use.” Williams is the data chief with Communications Company, CLR-37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
