PHILIPPINE SEA (April 18, 2019) Sailors climb up a ladder from a ridged-hulled inflatable boat (RIB) onto the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) after practicing Visit Board Search and Seizer (VBSS) with the Royal Australian Navy Adelaide-class guided-missile frigate HMAS Melbourne (FFG 05) on each other’s vessels during a cooperative deployment. Preble and Melbourne participated in a cooperative deployment in order to improve on maritime capabilities between partners. Preble is deployed to the U.S 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. (U.S. Navy Photo by Ensign Madison Karlin/Released)
