East China Sea (April 22, 2019) A U.S. Army pilot prepares to take off the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88) in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, assigned to the “Wild Cards” of 2nd Battalion (Assault), 2nd Aviation Regiment, Assault Helicopter Battalion (AHB) during deck landing qualifications. Preble is deployed to the U.S 7th Fleet area of operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
