Tracey Rodriguez, left, a combat engineer with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Female Engagement Team observes a soldier with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Arab Army during a live fire combat marksmanship range training. During the range training, Marines, Sailors and JAF soldiers exchanged combat tactics, techniques, and procedures. Marines and Sailors with the 22nd MEU and Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group are deployed to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
