Marines with Echo Company, 4th Tank Battalion, conduct dismounted route clearance missions and patrolling techniques during Enhanced Mojave Viper at the Combat Center, Feb. 12. Their scenarios are designed to challenge the individual combat skills of the Marines in a realistic environment similar to the hardships and obstacles faced by service members in Afghanistan. The company is attached to 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, and has participated in pre-deployment training exercises as augments to 1st CEB. The training package is the final exercise and evaluation of 1st CEB in preparation for an upcoming deployment. (Courtesy photo by Capt. Michael O’Quin)
