Marines with Mobility Assault Company, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, march to their starting positions in preparation for route clearance exercises during Enhanced Mojave Viper at the Combat Center, Feb. 12. Their route clearance scenarios are designed to challenge the individual combat skills of the Marines in a realistic environment similar to the hardships and obstacles faced by service members in Afghanistan.
