Col. Jeffrey T. Schreiner, the incoming 509th Bomb Wing commander, accepts the unit flag from Maj. Gen. James C. Dawkins Jr., 8th Air Force and Joint-Global Strike Operations Center commander, during the 509th BW change of command ceremony on May 9, 2019 at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. Schreiner was first stationed here as a B-2 student pilot in 2000 and has held several leadership positions at Whiteman AFB, including as the commander of the 13th Bomb Squadron from 2012-2014.
