NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (May 23, 2019) -- Electronics Technician 2nd Class Banks Ward, from Hartsville, South Carolina, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) combat systems department, receives a certificate of reenlistment from Lt. Jordan Kobs, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Ford's assistant navigator, during his reenlistment ceremony. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
