– Looking west at new steel bollard border barrier (left), a patrol road for CBP, stacks of old barrier, a water line, access road, and existing barrier (right) along a 22 mile stretch of the Yuma sector. An important part of the border infrastructure program is roads that allow Border Patrol to drive along the wall to maintain border security. The bollards are four inches apart to allow CBP agents to have a clear view of what is approaching from the south.
