U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Robert Marroquin, a protocol chief and small ensemble leader with the staff section of 1st Marine Division (Forward) plays taps in honor of Lance Cpl. Ramon T. Kaipat, an infantryman who served with Charlie Company, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, and 22-year-old native of Tacoma, Wash., during a memorial service here, April 16, 2012. Kaipat was killed in action during a dismounted patrol in support of combat operations in Helmand province’s Khan Neshin district.
