Snyder visited soldiers from the Michigan National Guard, took a tour around Camp Arifjan and stopped to talk to soldiers about the state’s current job market, college for veterans, budget cuts that affect service members, and the Michigan business taxes that will help soldiers when they return from deployment. With visits like these, Snyder is keeping soldiers throughout Third Army’s area of responsibility informed on their state’s progress while they are deployed.
