Marines and Sailors with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, assigned to the USS Iwo Jima, take a guided tour through Seville, Spain, April 23, 2012, while the ship conducted a port stop in Rota. The service members were able to participate in tours like this to various spots throughout southern Spain while the ship was in port April 19-24. The 24th MEU and Iwo ARG are deployed as a theater reserve and crisis response force capable of responding to a variety of missions, from full scale combat to humanitarian assistance.
