The commanding officer for the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), Col. Douglas M. Stilwell, and a local Djiboutian doctor, Dr. Hussein Chardi, pause for a group photo during the Project Handclasp event held at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti, Aug. 31. Project Handclasp, established in 1962, is a people-to-people program that accepts and organizes transport of educational, humanitarian and goodwill material overseas. The supplies are distributed directly to needy recipients by U.S. Military personnel.
