Col. Doug Stilwell, commanding officer for the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), greets a local care center leader during a visit at Camp Lemonier Djibouti, were he partook in the Project Handclasp event Aug. 31. Project Handclasp, established in 1962, is a people-to-people program that accepts and organizes transport of educational, humanitarian and goodwill material overseas. The supplies are distributed directly to needy recipients by U.S. Military personnel.
