U.S. Army Soldiers from 5-159th General Support Aviation Battalion conduct a Mass Casualty Exercise at Erbil Air Base, Iraq, July 31, 2019. The mass casualty exercise is a medical exercise stressing the partnership between field medics and Coalition surgical team. The exercise highlighted their ability to respond quickly to a mass casualty scenario, while simultaneously testing the units’ capacity to quickly treat and track patients throughout the continuum of care.
