U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Evin Feit from 5-159th General Support Aviation Battalion applies a tourniquet on a casualty during a mass casualty exercise at Erbil Air Base, Iraq, July 31, 2019. The mass casualty exercise is a medical exercise stressing between field medics and coalition surgical teams. The exercise highlighted their ability to respond quickly to a mass casualty scenario, while simultaneously testing the units’ capacity to quickly treat and track patients throughout the continuum of care.
