An MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 lands for Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) training at Ie Shima Training Facility, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 12, 2019. The FARP event demonstrated the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit’s capabilities to refuel at any given location. The establishment of a Forward Arming and Refueling Point from amphibious shipping demonstrates naval expeditionary integration across Marine Air-Ground Task Force capabilities and warfighting domains.
