The Clinometer on The Military Sealift Command (MSC) government owned tanker ship SS Petersburg (T-AOT-9101), displays the list of the ship at 5 degrees as it heads to the 12-degree list required to deploy a single-anchor leg mooring (SALM) buoy from its decks. Petersburgh is participating in that is participating in Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise 2019 off the coast of San Diego, Calif.
The deployment of the SALM is the first of this type of exercise conducted in Southern California.
