A U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft from the 731st Airlift Squadron is shut down after participating in a Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) certification and recurrent training exercise at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., April 21, 2012. MAFFS is a portable fire retardant system that can be installed on C-130 Hercules aircraft to convert them into air tankers.
