Lieutenant General Patricia D. Horoho, 43rd surgeon general of the United States Army and Commander, US Army Medical Command has a conversation with Health Care Specialists assigned to the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, Rose Barracks, Germany, about their experiences while working at the Rose Barracks Troop Medical Clinic on May 09, 2012. Medics rotate through the TMC every 90 days in order to sustain their military occupational skills and enhance their clinical skills in preparation for contingency operations. The Rose Barracks TMC is the first FORSCOM/MEDCOM partnered TMC in US Army Europe. Lieutenant General Horoho is the first female and first Nurse Corps Officer to serve as surgeon general of any of the Armed Forces.
