U.S. Army Reserve Capt. Matthew Surridge, Deputy Command Judge Advocate, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, briefs command teams at the New Command Teams training brief during the 85th USARSC’s headquarter’s battle assembly weekend, September 21-22, 2019. Brigade command teams traveled to the 85th USARSC headquarters to learn about command relationships, medical readiness and training management. The training also included breakout sessions with members of the G primary staffs. The purpose of the training was to explain challenges facing the Army Reserve and to develop a common understanding between the active component and the Army Reserve.
