JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (September 11, 2019) – Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Tony Christopher speaks during a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Christopher, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, says, “I serve to be part of a team that’s willing to commit to the call of duty against all enemies. It’s a humbling experience to know that we’re responsible for the lives of the nation's heroes. Whether it’s doing patient care, administrative work, security, or serving food, it all serves a purpose. I’m what it means to be a United States Navy sailor!” (U.S. Navy photo by Jacob Sippel, Naval Hospital Jacksonville/Released).
