JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (September 6, 2019) – Gregory Phillips, a housekeeping aide at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, cleans the hospital’s mural in the central tower’s elevator lobby. Phillips, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, says, “There’s military in my family. Working at this hospital, and supporting the Navy’s mission, is important to me. We support patient care by keeping the hospital clean and sanitary.” Housekeeping Week (Sept. 8 - 14) recognizes the hard-working housekeeping staff, who play a critical role on the patient care team.
