First residents of a newly constructed house in Jefferson Terrace, Lupita Uribe and her husband Chief Warrant Officer 4 Jose Uribe, stand in their modern kitchen and talk to Hunt Housing Community Manager Nola Peaco about when they can pick up the keys to the home they just cut the ribbon on during a ceremony Oct. 2 at Fort Lee. The ceremony commemorates the completion of the $15.7 million project to construct 34 new homes in the Jefferson Terrace neighborhood, which will help address the lack of officer housing at Fort Lee and alleviate wait times.
