U.K. Maj. Gen. Gerald Strickland, Combine Joint Task Force‐ Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF‐OIR) Deputy Commander ‐ Stability, meets with Iraqi Brig. Gen. Shehab Nasser, commander of the school of infantry noncommissioned officer II during a key leader engagement on Camp Taji Complex, Iraq, Oct. 2, 2019. The leaders discussed ongoing Coalition support to the betterment of the school’s training. Together, CJTF‐OIR and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
