U.K. Maj. Gen. Gerald Strickland, Combine Joint Task Force ‐ Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF‐OIR) Deputy Commander‐ Stability, speaks with a U.K. school of infantry noncommissioned officer II instructor, during his visit to the school, Camp Taji Complex, Iraq, Oct. 2, 2019. Maj. Gen Strickland spoke with the instructor about the Coalition’s impact on training Iraq’s noncommissioned officers. Together, CJTF‐OIR and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
