U.K. Maj. Gen. Gerald Strickland, Combine Joint Task Force ‐ Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF‐OIR) Deputy Commander‐ Stability, conducts a discussion with students of the school of infantry noncommissioned officer II, Camp Taji Complex, Iraq, October 2, 2019. Maj. Gen Strickland spoke with the students about training as it relates to the defeat of daesh. Together, CJTF‐OIR and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
